Jon Pugh is a visual effects artist, currently TechAnim lead at MPC Episodic London. He has a range of experience in different departments including comp, creature FX and crowd. His credits include The Crown, Assassin’s Creed, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and Detective Pikachu.
We chat with Jon about his journey within the VFX world and what his job currently entails, and learn more about the different departments in the VFX universe. We discuss tips for DPs working with visual effects, and hint at some of the innovations that may change the landscape in the future.
