Hello everyone! Just so you know, for the month of November, Creative Space will be going PURPLE for Epilepsy awareness month.
As you know, I’m a person living with epilepsy but I only started talking about it this year after getting diagnosed 8 years ago. But I’m not alone. 1 in 26 people in the United States will develop epilepsy in their lifetime and 50 million people worldwide have the condition, making it one of the most common neurological conditions.
There’s a lot of stigma around epilepsy, but for the month of November, we’re going to talk about it openly and raise awareness by chatting with epilepsy warriors and advocates who are using creativity to be a beacon of light for others with the condition.
