The host of the Emerald Podcast joins us to stake a flag in the ground and say “Life is here”. As fathers, we’re facing the ever encroaching threats posed by our world and wondering: How do we protect our children and somehow stay totally present?

This conversation points us to the balancing point between the vastness of everything we’re in the middle of, and the profound intimacy of being fully open to our children. Its a reminder to be community minded, rather than individualistic. Recognizing that being fitted into a larger whole is actually what satisfies us on a personal level, as well as safeguards us against danger, to the extent that we can be safe. The rest requires the remarkable feet of letting go and accepting.
