This week the girls take aim at...Current Events!
In case you missed it, Sarah is taking a break so Amy and Bianca are continuing the tangent train and took aim at current events in the first episode of Friday Night Wine Fight - the A & B edition.
Bianca was going to discuss the floods in Queensland and New South Wales, however since the situation is still ongoing she decided to leave it for another time. Instead, she discussed the recent tale of a Catholic Priest who mixed up his words and potentially left hundreds of churchgoers unblessed.
Amy discussed the war unfolding in Ukraine giving a brief history into Ukraine's relationship with its invader, Russia. Amy went on to lighten the mood by discussing the upcoming Eurovision song contest which will take place in May. Australia recently held auditions for the contestant who will represent Australia and in true Aussie style, we made a bit of a spectacle of it.
Lastly, Bianca and Amy discussed things that they had missed (or dismissed) in recent times and had a brief chat about how Kanye is not ok.
