Hey, I'm Kristy - a mom, wife, and beloved daughter of God. For years I struggled with PTSD from childhood trauma and domestic violence. I buried myself in work, raising my kids, and a busy calendar thinking I could deal with my trauma alone.
I finally realized if I was going to become resilient and find both peace and healing, then I needed to better understand trauma and how to move past its damage.
I created a simple plan that I could follow to begin the healing with faith, learning, mindfulness practices, reframing negative thoughts, relaxation techniques, and reflection on what is within my control and what is not. I’ve moved beyond what once held me back and am ready to share it with you!
