Esther Onyango is a research fellow at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. She is part of a trans-disciplinary research program on the impacts of climate change and vector-borne diseases.
With Esther, we talked about her roots in Kenya, her passion for microbiology, how she became interested in the links between health and the environment, and the importance of developing cross-boundary policies in order to respond to the increasing occurrence of viruses due to climate change.
