Based on Psalm 114
Tonight’s psalm reminds us of the awe-inspiring presence of God. His power is so great that even the earth trembles before Him. This same God, who commands nature, invites us into a relationship with Him. Recognizing His majesty humbles us and deepens our reverence, but it also reassures us — the God who moves mountains and parts seas is the One who walks with us through every challenge.
Take a moment to reflect on God’s mighty presence. Breathe out distractions and breathe in the wonder of His power and closeness. Let a sense of holy reverence fill your heart, knowing you are in the care of the Almighty.
A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Worship God for His majesty and power. Acknowledge that His presence is worthy of reverence and awe. He holds the world in His hands and cares intimately for you.
CONFESSION: Consider times when you’ve lost sight of God’s majesty. Ask Him to renew your sense of awe and reverence for His presence.
THANKSGIVING: Thank God for His nearness, even in His grandeur. Express gratitude that the powerful God of all creation is with you, guiding and sustaining you.
SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to live in awe of Your presence. Teach me to honor Your majesty and trust in Your power. Let Your presence calm my fears and inspire me to walk in faith.

Mighty God, tonight I take great comfort that You are for me and not against me. The seas, for all their force, still split at Your command. For all their might, the mountains still flee like lambs when Your roar. I sleep without fear tonight, for the Lion of Judah roars behind me. I can have courage because the Creator of the cosmos is on my side. Settle me in this reality tonight as I sleep. Give me fresh fire tomorrow as I rise with the morning light. I am more than a conqueror in Christ! Give me confidence as I sleep and strength when I wake. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.🙏🏾
