Darryl has a passion for what he does and feels a sense of calling from God to be able to use his gifts and knowledge to help people with their finances as they move into the retirement years. But his desire for his clients is to not just "retire," but instead pivot into the next chapter of their life, understanding the importance of giving back to others through their knowledge, time, and money.
Who is Darryl Lyons?
Author, entrepreneur, community leader, and family man. Darryl Lyons is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Behavioral Financial Advisor (BFA), and a co-founder of PAX Financial Group, a financial advisory firm that honors Judeo-Christian values and helps high-net-worth individuals and families pursue their meaning of true wealth.
An expert in the area of personal finance, Darryl is also the author of several books on the subject matter; his latest being endorsed by Dave Ramsey. Darryl’s company, PAX Financial Group, has made the Inc. list of “5000 Fastest-Growing Companies in the Country” and was named “One of the Best Places to Work” by the San Antonio Business Journal.
Darryl wears many hats and understands what it takes to plan for financial freedom. Among his many accolades, he was a nominee for the John C. Maxwell Leadership Award and recipient of the Small Business Person of the Year award for his work mentoring others. Darryl has also been recognized by the State of Texas and Mayor Ivy Taylor. Community leader, Mayor Julian Castro, even recognized Darryl for his involvement in redeveloping a part of the city by naming a park, the Darryl W. Lyons Park, in his honor.
Rooted in thousands of one-on-one conversations with people and a relatively new study called Behavioral Finance, Darryl’s latest mission involves helping to redefine the way people look at retirement. Rather than simply “retiring," the mission is to help individuals as they PIVOT into the next chapter of life with purpose.
