Episode 402 | Dispensationalism in Thessalonians – Part 1 | Luke21 - Catholic Biblical Prophecy
Manage episode 396146407 series 2362060
In this episode, your host Steve Wood launches into the study of biblical prophecy starting with 1 Thessalonians 1:1-4. You will learn the importance of these four verses and why they are key for understanding the big picture of Biblical prophecy. Steve then dives into explaining the two different ways one can interpret the Scriptures. Spoiler alert – you’ll learn what eisegesis (reading one’s thoughts into scripture) and exegesis (forming one’s thoughts by reading meaning out of scripture) are, how they differ, and why it matters. Steve will then explain how these theories can help us interpret popular theories such as the Rapture.
