From PhD to Public Service: Chamonix's Journey to Empowering Migrants in Australia
Meet Chamonix, who has proudly called Australia home for nearly 20 years. A graduate of the University of Pretoria and UNISA, she furthered her academic journey in Australia, pursuing a PhD focused on Australian Skills Shortages at a Perth university. With experience as Chief of Staff in the Australian Parliament and years of service as a Councilor in one of Perth's largest local governments, Chamonix has made significant contributions to her community. Her passion for helping others led her to complete a Graduate Diploma in Migration Law, and today, she is the Director of Quokkaroo, an international recruitment and migration company. Join us as we explore her inspiring journey and her dedication to helping migrants discover the incredible opportunities that await them in Australia, the land she fondly calls "the land of milk and honey."
