For this month's episode of the Our Sam Talking out Loud podcast series, we have partnered with Professor Nick Embleton and The Butterfly Project to talk about 'The loss of babies from multiple pregnancies'.
Nick is Professor of Neonatal Medicine at Newcastle University, Consultant Neonatal Paediatrician at Newcastle NHS Trust, and Co-Founder of The Butterfly Project.
In the final part of this special focus episode, Our Sam, Founder and CEO, Philippa Davies, talks to Judith Rankin, Professor of Maternal and Child Health, within the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Newcastle University, about her part in The Butterfly Project, and her current research continuing the theme of support provision for the parents and families who have lost babies from multiple pregnancies, and also Sharon Darke, Mum to Joshua and Charlie, and Bereavement Lead for The Twins Trust, about her journey, and the support available for parents, families, and siblings through The Twins Trust.
