7 of 11 Southeast Asian nations persecute Christians

International Christian Concern reports seven out of eleven Southeast Asian nations persecute Christians.

Those nations are Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Vietnam. In Brunei and Cambodia, officials prohibit Christians from sharing their faith. Burma’s military often targets Christians with violence.

Believers face blasphemy charges in Malaysia and Indonesia for criticizing Islam. And authorities in Laos and Vietnam try to force Christians to renounce their faith.

There are also at least 45 Christians who are missing, detained, or imprisoned across Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

Hebrews 13:3 says, “Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.”

Donald Trump wins in a landslide

Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election in a landslide as results from the polls came in yesterday.

Trump secured 292 electoral votes as of Wednesday, according to the Associated Press. This surpasses the 270 electoral votes necessary to win. Trump also secured the popular vote with over 72 million votes.

Trump won the swing states of Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. The Associated Press had not called Arizona or Nevada as of yesterday, but Trump was leading in both states.

Trump addressed supporters following the victory, acknowledging God’s protection on his life.

TRUMP: “Many people have told me that God spared my life for a reason. (cheers) And that reason was to save our country and to restore America to greatness. Now, we are going to fulfill that mission together. We’re going to fulfill that mission.”

Proverbs 21:1 reminds us, “The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes.”

Remarkably, right after Trump’s victory speech, the crowd at the watch party at the Palm Beach Florida Convention Center burst out in spontaneous worship, singing “How Great Thou Art.”

CROWD: “O Lord my God, when I in awesome wonder consider all the worlds Thy hands have made. I see the stars. I hear the roaring thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Kamala Harris’ belated concession speech champions abortion

After refusing to congratulate Trump on Election Night, after he had won the 270 electoral votes necessary, Kamala Harris delivered a concession speech at 4:00pm Eastern on November 6^th at Howard University, her alma mater.

HARRIS: “Earlier today, I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. (boos) I also told him that we will help him and his team with their transition and that we will engage in a peaceful transfer of power.” (cheers)

She appeared to imply that she hopes to run for president again.

HARRIS: “While I concede this election, I do not concede the fight that fueled this campaign.” (cheers)

And, not surprisingly, she exhibited her greatest passion when she championed baby-killing in the womb.

HARRIS: “I will never give up the fight for a future where Americans can pursue their dreams, ambitions and aspirations, where the women of America have the freedom to make decisions about their own body and not have their government telling them what to do.” (cheers)

Republicans won control of the U.S. Senate

Republicans also won control of the U.S. Senate following Tuesday’s election. They now have 52 seats in the Senate, surpassing the necessary 50 seats for a majority.

The GOP flipped seats in Montana, Ohio, and West Virginia where Tim Sheehy, Bernie Moreno, and Jim Justice were victorious respectively.

Neither party has won control of the House of Representatives with 44 more races yet to be called as of Wednesday. Republicans had 202 seats and Democrats had 189 seats. A party needs at least 218 seats for a majority.

3 pro-abortion amendments failed, 7 passed

Voters across 10 states also decided on abortion ballot initiatives on Tuesday.

Pro-abortion constitutional amendments failed in Florida, Nebraska, and South Dakota.

Tragically, similar pro-abortion amendments passed in Arizona, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, New York, Montana, and Nevada.

Stock market and Crytpo up after Trump’s victory

The stock market reacted positively to the news of Donald Trump becoming the 47th president of the United States.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 3.6%. The S&P 500 rose 2.5%, and the Nasdaq composite jumped 3%.

Crypto also surged with Bitcoin reaching an all-time high of over $76,000.

Boeing no longer bowing to sexual perversion Wokeness

Bloomberg reports that Boeing is the latest high-profile corporation to end its diversity, equity, and inclusion department.

The airplane manufacturer will instead focus on talent and employee experience. The change comes under Boeing’s new Chief Executive Officer Kelly Ortberg who is cutting about 10% of the company’s workforce.

The change also comes as many U.S. companies face pressure from conservative activists to cut their diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.

Billy Graham’s birthday

And finally, today is the anniversary of Billy Graham’s birthday.

He was born on November 7, 1918 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Graham was ordained as a Southern Baptist minister, becoming one of the greatest modern evangelists.

He preached to almost a quarter billion people in person. His messages also reached millions more through radio, TV, and film.

GRAHAM: “David, the man after God’s own heart, also became guilty of sin. He became guilty of adultery and guilty of murder, and he suffered for it the rest of his life. God forgave him, but the scars remained.

You’re not sure that if you died you’d go to Heaven. If you have a doubt about it, you ought to settle it this very night. You’re fleeing from God.”

Graham’s Gospel crusades took him all over the world even behind the Iron Curtain and into China and North Korea.
