This week John and Josiah dove headlong into the world of the DCEU with a few reservation but, unlike many in the suicide squad, have ended their mission alive and satisfied. Jame Gunn delivers on the promise of the original Suicide Squad while presenting a master class on action filmmaking rich with character and heart. Gun pokes fun at the DCEU film failings, moves his camera in joyful dance, and permits his actors to do their best work, even in the smallest role.
There is a special bonus segment this episode featuring Steph who watched the film on HBO Max instead at the theatre with the guys.
