Tom’s guest has played a HUGE role in his life for over 30 years – as a friend, father- figure, mentor and ministry partner. Allen Kjesbo is a husband, father and grandfather who recently retired after 44 plus years in full-time ministry – 30+ of those years serving as a youth pastor.
In this episode of The RESGEN Giving Life Podcast, Tom and Allen discuss some of the biggest things he learned during his 3 decades of working with teenagers and how those lessons helped him and his wife, Denise, plant a church in their second season of ministry. They also talk about some of the challenges he needed to overcome as a child and how those help moved him towards a career of serving others. And of course, they also visit about some of the favorite memories Tom has from being a teenager in his youth group, from living with his family during his senior year in high school and freshmen year of college and from planting a church together in 2007. No doubt about it, this is very special episode.
