What are the top competencies that a Retail Leader needs to be successful? We discuss
- Humility - freedom from pride or arrogance. A leader who credits his success to his teammates, even though he has great skill, shows humility.
- Accountability - A leaders willingness to accept responsibility
- Communication - Communication enables them to share what they have and what they expect from others.
- Approachability - Leaders who are reliable and consistent. You must also stay open and listen. Embrace compassion and step into empathy.
- Decision Making - Great leaders understand how to balance emotion with reason and make decisions that positively impact themselves, their employees, their customers and stakeholders, and their organizations.
