This week we chat with filmmaker Damian McCarthy, the writer/director of the very scary movies Oddity and Caveat! We chat about the imposing house they shot in, the funny/creepy easter egg, and so much more before exploring Damian's childhood horror history. And then we dive into Hideo Nakata's Ringu and why it terrified Damian as a teenager. We discuss it and the remake, the existential dread of the video tape, urban legends and so much more.
