A coworker shoutout to Christian who told me about the witch of Norris City Illinois a few days after I told him about me being a ghost hunter. Michelle and I had plans to take him with us to go and investigate the cemetery with us but he had other plans that came up. The witch in question, her name is Zarelda Surilay Belvin Essary and she was Married to M. William Mckinney Essary. Her tombstone is easy to find because it is in the shape of a coffin, and it has all kinds of symbols and writings on and around the coffin shaped tombstone. The quote on her tombstone reads "As I once was so you are now. As I am now soon you will be. Prepare for death and Follow me." unquote. Michelle and I had a great time ghost hunting this cemetery and we plan to go back again.
