Today, I chat live at the Boston Marathon weekend with Holley Samuel, RD, MEd, CSSD, CPT! Holley and I combine our passions to have a great discussion about mindset and fueling during the marathon! We discuss the super cool science about how your nutrition during your runs impacts way more than just your stamina - it impacts your headspace, mindset, and mood too! If you have ever been in a race where your outlook is pessimistic, you start doubting yourself, or you feel upset, listen in to how simple changes in nutrition may actually help turn that mindset around! After our discussion, we then answered some of your questions that you asked through Instagram, such as "What's the deal with pop tarts?" and "Is my energy low due to underfueling or overtraining?" and so many more!
