It's a new day. And most importantly, it’s a brand new year. I think it’s fair to say that we’re all glad to put 2020 behind us … and yet, if we’re honest with ourselves, we’re likely struggling with an uneasiness about the days ahead. This uneasiness is precisely why I chose to feature Operation Smile today. Not only because they do tremendous work around the world. But because we all need to be reminded that even when a situation seems absolutely hopeless, there is hope. My guests today join me to share Operation Smile’s remarkable mission to help children worldwide who suffer from cleft palates and cleft lips. This condition often marginalizes and steals away a person’s confidence. Joining us from Operation Smile: Lizet Campos from Lima, Peru. And John Streit from their Headquarters in the U.S. This is the story of new beginnings and hope restored.
