In this week's episode we about incorporating "functional body building" and strict work into your training. Whether you are just starting, a regular group class member, or a budding superstar, you must master these basics first, and forever continue to incorporate them. We also talk about injury prevention and rehabilitation. Find out how to train smart when you are planning on training MORE. You must switch up your movement patterns, tempos, and even your recovery tools when doing so. Nutrition and supplements should also be adjusted, and consider using something like heart rate variability (HRV) to monitor your readiness to train. This is essentially an indicator of the amount of 'stress' in your body. Too much stress means you will NOT adapt favourably to your training sessions. We keep you up to date on the open and the crossfit world.
