In the first episode, Alex speaks to John Bell & Croyden’s Senior Beauty Buyer Marcela Selimi, to find out what exactly is a beauty buyer, what her job entails and how her team handpicks brands from the best of the best going through a rigorous selection process. It also discusses what makes a good buyer and some of the key things Marcela looks for when sourcing new products such as ethically sourced ingredients and ensuring products deliver exceptional results. Each series will spotlight a different topic, starting with pain. In the first episode, Reshma talks about the difference between acute and chronic pain, what types of pain relief are available and how your local pharmacist can help. Reshma has been a qualified pharmacist for over 20 years and, during this time, she has worked in a variety of pharmacy settings. She has been with John Bell & Croyden for the last ten years.
