Most of use lead busy urban lives these days with days and weeks passing by in some cities without close contact with nature. In this episode of the podcast, we discuss the health benefits of hiking and trail running with Nayla Cortas who is a pharmacist by training and an avid trail runner. Nayla along with Lebanon trail running pioneer Ali Kedami established the 4 Seasons Mountain Trails organizing races along the Lebanon Mountain Trail which traverses the country from North to South. We discuss the health advantages of this endeavor and the economic effects this trail and events around it have on the villages along the path.
