Maxim Furek’s rich background includes aspects of psychology, addictions, music journalism, and the paranormal. He has a master’s degree in communications from Bloomsburg University and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Aquinas College.
He interviewed celebrity demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren. He was featured on Exploring the Bizarre with the legendary Timothy Green Beckley and Tim R. Swartz, Art Bell’s Midnight in the Desert with Heather Wade, and Paranormal 60 with Dave Schrader.
Maxim has written numerous rock biographies and paranormal-themes books, such as Flying Saucer Esoteric: The Altered States of Ufology and Coal Region Hoodoo: Paranormal Tales from Inside the Pit.
Sheppton: The Myth, Miracle, and Music was featured on Australia’s Mysterious Universe.
His new book, The Lost Tribes of Bigfoot, has been published by Hangar 1 and uses the innovative Immersive Book Technology (IBT.)
He is a respected contributor to Fate Magazine, Star Beacon, and Paranormal Underground, showcasing his expertise and knowledge in the field.
He was a guest speaker at the 2024 Institute for Hermetic Studies Annual Conference, where he spoke about Dr. Frederick Santee, high priest of the Coven of the Catta, and at the Baltimore FortFest honoring the legacy of Charles Fort.
