Tucker was born and raised in Richmond, VA. He started his career working in Investment Banking in New York City for J.P. Morgan focusing on M&A advisory before moving to San Francisco to work on the investment team of a Private Equity fund called Gryphon Investors where he met his partner, Mac Shelton. They quickly became friends and started investing in real estate passively while maintaining their day jobs. After buying 5 rental properties over a few years, they decided to complete their first syndication in 2021.
