He’s joined in studio by Jillian Upshaw, a young woman that recently won the Capital Stars Talent Competition and is taking steps to pursue a career as a jazz drummer! Paul share memories from his early days in NYC and meeting Stanley Crouch, a 2019 NEA Jazz Master Honoree. Personal insights are shared from Stanley and South African composer Abdullah Ibrahim.
