What’s been keeping me up? Pressure. Feeling pressured to be a Stepford wife. To smile and wave. To always put on a happy face no matter what. It’s OK to feel your emotions. That’s why we have them. As long as you don’t live in the negativity or wallow in self-pity, emotions are there for a reason. I’m tired of being told to get over it or suck it up. I would like a little empathy.
