Niki Kaur is a 21-year-old straight, cis-female born in Canada. She is also Indian and mildly Sikh.

When Niki was around 18 or 19, she was sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend, given the name ex-abuser for the show, which resulted in PTSD. From the beginning, her ex-abuser was manipulative and showed he did not care about her consent. No matter how many times she would try to set boundaries, her ex-abuser would twist the situation and make it about him. This put her in the position of having to emotionally take care of him, ultimately giving him a way back in to get what he wanted.

Fortunately, Niki has a support system that's helped her to heal. This includes her parents, her therapist, two close friends, and dating a guy that showed her what a real, healthy romantic relationship is. Niki has worked through her PTSD symptoms and found ways to let go of the shame and feelings of disgust she had after her rape. Now, she is here to share her story.
