She is also the author of two books (Starla and the Boogie Deluxe, 2019, Archway Publishing; The Trouble With Becoming A Witch, 2019, SheWrites Press) and works weekdays as an on-air personality at Austin360 Radio at the Austin American-Statesman while being a mom to two girls ages 16 and 12.
