In March 2020 James McGill found out he had Lymphoma after his arm, which he had broken a couple of years prior, had failed to heal properly. In May he was then told that he had just 24 hours to live.
Lymphoma is a type of blood cancer that develops when white blood cells called lymphocytes grow out of control. Lymphoma can be found in any part of the body and unfortunately for James, it was found in his brain.
In this chat together James shares into what his experience has been like and how he's been recovering since, both mentally and physically.
We talk about struggle, perseverance, mental health, therapy and so much more.
James has an incredible way of sharing. This is open, raw and honest conversation which I really think everyone will find value in listening to.
