In this belated "They Re-Slayed It" episode (blame audio issues!), Stuart and Jacob tackle the world of Scooby Doo by comparing the 1998 animated film "Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island" with its 2019 sequel. They analyze the transition from the original's down-to-earth take on real supernatural elements in a Scooby-Doo story to the sequel's attempt at a postmodern, self-referential narrative.
