Having discovered a serious heart condition almost too late, Lori Ann Wood writes to encourage others to embrace their deep faith questions along the detours of life. Lori Ann has won the Frederick Buechner Narrative Essay Award as well as awards from the Evangelical Press Association and Write His Answer Ministries. Her work has been published in numerous print and online venues, including The New York Times, The Christian Century magazine, Just Between Us Magazine, The Joyful Life Magazine, Bella Grace Magazine, Pepperdine University Press, and Truly Magazine. Lori Ann lives with her husband in an empty nest in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains.
