Good morning, Atlanta! I'm your friendly neighborhood meteorologist bringing you the latest scoop on our local weather adventure.
Let's dive right in! Tonight, we're looking at a wet and cozy evening with showers rolling through. Temperatures will dip down to a cool 43 degrees Fahrenheit, with calm winds keeping things quiet. Pack that umbrella because there's a 90 percent chance of precipitation, with about a tenth to a quarter inch of rain expected.
Monday starts off with a misty morning. Showers are likely before 9 am, with cloudy skies and temperatures climbing to a mild 52 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will be gentle, starting from the southwest and shifting to the west in the afternoon.
Things cool down Monday night with partly cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to a crisp 32 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect a light northwest wind with gusts up to 15 miles per hour.
Tuesday brings some sunshine back into our lives! We'll see a beautiful sunny day with temperatures reaching a pleasant 57 degrees Fahrenheit. West winds will be blowing around 10 miles per hour, with occasional gusts up to 20 miles per hour.
As we move through the week, we're looking at mostly sunny and partly sunny conditions. Wednesday will warm up to 64 degrees Fahrenheit, and Thursday follows suit with a high near 63 degrees Fahrenheit.
By Friday, we're introducing a bit more moisture with a 50 percent chance of showers and temperatures climbing to a warm 68 degrees Fahrenheit. The weekend looks promising with a mix of sun and a slight chance of precipitation.
