Dr. Zoё Hickson
Dr. Zoё ( pronounced zoway) Hickson is a licensed Naturopathic Physician in the state of Connecticut. Dr. Hickson helps families and individuals with fatigue, conception, digestive health, as well as equipping individuals with knowledge and understanding to live healthier lives and decrease the risk of disease.
Dr. Zoё Hickson completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her medical training at the University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Dr. Zoё Hickson is also certified in T3 Therapy and a certified Acupuncture Practitioner. Her areas of specialty include but are not limited to women’s health, life style change, and treatment of inflammatory, endocrine and metabolic disorders through functional, botanical and nutritional medicine.
Upon graduation, Dr. Hickson continued her clinical training through a mentor-ship, that included extensive training in nutrigenomics, incorporating both Eat Right 4 Your Type (The Blood Type Diet) and The Genotype Diet, as well as individualized holistic medicine with a foundation in science.
Dr. Hickson is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians, Connecticut Naturopathic Physician Association, along with a number of other state associations.
Dr. Hickson has been extensively trained in mind body counseling, nutritional medicine, women’s health, autoimmune disease, metabolic disorders, integrated cancer treatment and prevention, gastrointestinal disorders, endocrine imbalances and food allergy/sensitivity analysis. Her clinical training has provided her experience in pediatrics through geriatrics, with a holistic approach that addresses mind, body, and spirit.
