Check out my website http://forwardjulio.wordpress.com Transcript welcome back to another episode of whole self millionaire today I'm gonna be talking to you a little bit about being surrounded by good people the beginning of the school year our twins are 11 years old they started in a new school it was a little bit difficult for them it took him a little bit to get acclimated to a small school setting they were both in the same class again they've always been in separate classes so the beginning of the year we got called in let us know that you know they were having a little bit of difficulty acclimating to to the new school the no system the no way everything worked so we went in we sat with the teachers the principal my wife and myself we talked to we came up with a plan we explained to them we're on the same page as a teachers we work together we exchanged phone numbers and everything had promised had hope and we spoke to our girls we told them look your teachers and us are on the same page we're all here to work together to get you to another level to get you better to get you stronger to get you into college I did another thing so the girls understood that I go okay these guys are all working together this is like my team to get to another level to get better to get stronger to get smarter to to get down in a routine in school to get down I mean getting good grades so I tell you the story because at the end of the day you're not always perfect things don't work out exactly how you want them it may take you a little bit to acclimate it may take you a little bit to get used to it to get in the groove of things like they say but who do you have around you do you have a team do you have people around you and lift you up who are going to encourage you who are gonna keep you accountable to take you to the next level you're gonna have people around you're gonna ask you and tell you and hey that accountability and promote you and tell you hey you're doing good keep going you know you had today you had a victory let's have another victory tomorrow to motivate you to inspire you to take you higher and higher to show you to remind you that things are gonna get better that you're you can do better you can do more that more is expected of you that you not this where you're at right now you're a lot better than where you're at if you don't have that you need to start searching for people around you and put people around you to lift you up I told you the story to tell you that after the first semester we just walked the girls through their honor roll ceremony and the principal came up to my wife and told her hey let me tell you something we've come a very long way haven't we and you know what the girls have they've done that but we've done that as a team in the same way the girls had victory in school the same way the girls feel more confident our stronger are better at homework are better in class are better together because they are now in the same class is a small group setting the same way that you will conquer anything any project if you put good people around you if you have people around you who bring you down who tell you hey you can't do it oh that's too hard or they help you make excuses and they enable you guess what you're not gonna get to that honor roll of your life so get people around you are gonna lift you up who are gonna help you get to the next level who are gonna pull you up when you think you can't go any further then help you go that extra mile that extra step that extra inch whatever it is surround yourself with good people because good people will help you get to the Honor Roll of your life be blessed have a good one --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/forwardjulio/message
