Founded by Michael Shaps after his studies at the Lycée Viticole de Beaune, Maison Shaps focuses on making low-intervention wines. Currently managed by Hanna Shaps, Michael's daughter, Maison Shaps produces between 25 and 30,000 bottles each year. Michael also owns a winery in Virginia where he is considered one of the key figures in the modern Virginia wine industry.

In addition to Burgundy traditions and extreme climate changes in Virginia, Michael dives into his excitement around the creativity and innovation of Virginian wine. Hanna shares how she is leading the way in Burgundy with enhanced tasting experiences.
