This week on ‘Work Hates’ we chat with television presenter, comedian, mother and a pillar of Australian entertainment, Julia Morris. She has been in the industry for (in her words) “75 years” so she has seen more dreadful gigs than anyone in the world. Her career has been spectacular from the outside, and her tenacity has allowed her to stay in a profession that has been infamously unenthusiastic towards women. Julia has been thrown under the bus on national television by colleagues in search of a leg-up, and she has also embraced younger talent wholeheartedly. This is a self-made woman who walks into a room with her heart on her sleeve, and even though she may not remember anyone’s name, she is absolutely willing to pretend she has.
