People with spinal cord injury will be able to stand up and walk again
with this exoskeleton
after some training
In this episode, you will hear

  • why TWIICE followed a strict rule of not allowing able-bodied people to test the exoskeleton
  • how they accelerated the development of the exoskeleton
  • how people after spinal cord injuries can move using it
  • and more

My guest, Dr. Tristan Vouga is a co-founder and CEO of TWIICE. He’s a robotic design engineer with a Ph.D. in wearable robotics from EPFL.
TWIICE is a Swiss startup developing a modular lower-limb exoskeleton that enables people with paraplegia to stand up and walk again. Or take a hike up a snowy mountain. They completed their first clinical study with the Swiss Paraplegia Center.
