On the fifth Sunday night in October 2024, we were blessed to have Elder Kevin Lofton, Pastor of Buffalo Primitive Baptist Church in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, as our guest minister. In this sermon, he shows some comparisons given in the Bible between wine and the gospel. We learn that, much like properly mingled wine, the gospel is a mixture of many sweet truths that, when properly joined together, make glad the heart of God and man. However, when you remove something from the mixture, or add something to it, you create something that is neither palatable nor nourishing. Join us as we begin looking at this sweet example from Scripture.
