Join Bec Fox and her Podcast guest the extraordinary Heather Ellis, an Australian motorbike legend, and passionate advocate for removing the stigma of HIV and Positive Women around the world. Author of motorcycle travel books ‘Ubuntu’ & ‘Timeless On The Silk Road’, Heather shares her motorbike journey through Africa, London as a motorcycle courier, and Central Asia from 1993 to 1997. She still has her trusty Yamaha in her shed, ready to embark on new adventures.
Heather explores her adventures and passion to enlighten the world about what it means to be Positive, and challenges changing the uneducated stigma that surrounds HIV. Living life to its fullest, and often seen on TV discussing HIV on ABC’s ‘You Can't Ask That” and other shows, Heather is an advocate working with positive Women in Victoria and traveling overseas as an international guest speaker for Motorbike adventurers and abound.
Heather opens her heart and we explore her courage, fearlessness, vulnerability, and inner turbo! She is a woman of huge horsepower! Enjoy this adventure and ride with the epic legend Heather Ellis. She may be short in stature, but that’s where it ends!
