Welcome to The Amy Eagan Podcast. Where each Saturday LU Head WBB Amy Eagan talks women's basketball and much, much more. We'll talk about past games, future games, players, the OVC, the NCAA, academics, careers, and many other interesting topics.

This week we look at the past week's games against the University of Dayton and the University of Cinncinatti and we'll talk about early season scheduling, the big picture of women's college basketball and how Coach Eagan and her staff prepare their players for their post-college jobs and careers. We'll also look ahead to the road trip to U Northern IL this week.

Gracy share many of her first-year experiences at Lindenwood University - including her interest in pursuing medical school after her time at LU. Coach Eagan discusses the team's success in the OVC so far this season. Her Lady Lions are 8-0 at home, but play 4 of the final 6 conference games on the road.. She also discusses Justis Odom's evolution to be one of the best true centers in the OVC this year and how the 'help-side' defense has evolved as the season progresses. Coach Eagan also shares a moving story about the team's student manager, Payton Toussaint - and all of the many tasks Payton does for the team. Finally, news came out on Monday that ESPN U will be on the LU campus on Saturday, February 15th at 11:00 a.m. central time. A large crowd is expected for the game in the Hyland Arena.
