Arkansas Baptist News Associate Editor Caleb Yarbrough chats with Arkansas Baptist State Convention President Greg Sykes, senior pastor of First Baptist Church, Russellville, about everything from his role as president of the state convention, the current battle over bringing a casino to Pope County (the county where his church is located), the importance of lay leaders to Syke's personal story of how he shifted paths from a possible career in journalism to full-time pastoral ministry.
