There is a lot of conversation about using AI in healthcare—let's put in our two cents!
In this episode, we have Matt Troup, PC-A, Medical Director at Memora Health, sharing how using conversational AI in healthcare can improve patient outcomes and reduce the burden on clinical teams. Through examples of successful chatbot implementations in post-operative care and postpartum care, patient engagement has been significantly improved. However, a warning is issued regarding the importance of establishing clear guidelines when questions need to be escalated, to avoid the AI from practicing medicine.
