In this 3-week Discipleship Hour class, we explore the topic of shame including:The nature of shame: We'll examine what shame truly is and how it manifests in our lives, often in subtle ways.God's perspective on shame: We'll discover how God views our shame and explore the powerful truths found in scripture.The gospel as the solution: We'll be encouraged by the amazing way the gospel offers the perfect solution to both our guilt and our shame, which will deepen our appreciation for what Jesus has done for us.Our role in helping others: I was personally surprised to learn the significant role we play in helping others navigate their own experiences with shame. We'll discuss practical ways we all can support and uplift one another.
