In this episode of the Nourish Your Nervous System series, Lindsey discusses the importance of meeting your basic, physical needs. You know, the "boring and basic" stuff like eating enough and eating nourishing foods, prioritizing your sleep (she gives sleep hygiene tips BEYOND what the internet recommends), time in Nature, and tending to your environment. These are the often overlooked but foundational elements for trauma-healing and overall well-being. Like, if you aren't eating enough or getting enough sleep and time outside, you don't need more nervous system tools or another embodiment practice; you need food, sleep, and time outdoors.

Each basic need is explored in detail, providing insights into how they contribute to a healthy nervous system and the importance of prioritizing them in the healing journey.
