A soft heart moved by loving compassion, forgiveness, kindness, gentleness, care for others, meekness, humility, gratitude, and all fruits of the Spirit is a mark of maturity. If the natural man is self-centered and hard-hearted, then maturity in Christ must call us to be tenderhearted.
