国家卫健委：全国发热门诊和急诊高峰已经过去

Fewer people are seeking treatment at fever clinics since the peak of coronavirus infections on December 23rd, according to the National Health Commission. Hospitals have been reporting a decline in emergency patients since the beginning of this month. Here in Shanghai, hospitals have mostly weathered the storm. Song Wenjing has more.

国家卫健委表示，自12月23日新冠感染高峰以来，发热门诊就诊量明显回落。本月初以来，医院急诊诊疗人次持续下降。上海大部分医院从“风暴眼”趋于常态化。记者宋文婧带来更多详细报道。

At 2 o’clock this afternoon, there were still some empty seats in the emergency department of Minhang District Central Hospital. Most patients were seniors.

今天（01/16）下午2点，闵行区中心医院的急诊区内，人流平稳。候诊人群以中老年居多。

I saw the doctor after waiting about half an hour. It was totally acceptable.

等了半个小时左右就看到了，完全可以接受。

There are 11 consulting rooms in the emergency department. The hospital said they only need to open 4 consulting rooms now since patient numbers have dropped from last week.

急诊区共有11个诊室。随着上周起就诊量明显回落，目前开放4个诊室。

Most patients here are seniors and many of them had pneumonia【肺炎】. 183 patients have come so far today. In December, it was nearly 1,000 by this time of the day.

Patients can quickly get tests like a CT scan and electrocardiogram【心电图】. The hospital’s infusion area hasn’t been as busy either.

There were 800 patients getting IVs each day during the peak period. It has been dropping gradually and now it’s down to about 460.

最高峰的时候，单日患者800人左右（接受静脉注射），现在每天的量在持续一个往下降的状态，已经下降到460人左右了。

Although the situation has stabilized, the hospital has emergency plans in place for the cold front【（大片冷暖空气相交形成的）锋】and Spring Festival holiday.

目前，医院逐步恢复正常诊疗，同时制定了应对寒潮和春节假期的计划。

With the cold weather, there have been about 450 people every day in the emergency department. We have opened more consulting rooms to ensure residents have a safe new year.

寒潮来临，我们门急诊的量在450人次左右。我们每个班会增加两到三个诊室，保证老百姓能够平稳度过一个安全有序的年。

According to the Shanghai Medical Emergency Center, daily calls for ambulances have decreased 50% compared to the peak period. About 98 percent of callers can speak to someone within 10 seconds instead of being placed on hold.

根据上海医疗急救中心的数据显示，急救车来电数比高峰时期要回落一半以上。10秒接听率达到约98%。

2.HOMELESS SHELTERS, WHOLESALE MARKETS PREPARE FOR COLD WEATHER

上海：寒潮来袭救助出动为流浪者送去温暖

As the temperature dropped below zero yesterday, staff at a homeless shelter checked on people living on the streets and offered help. Also, wholesale markets have sufficient stocks of food. Zhang Hong tells us more.

昨天（01/15），上海的气温降至零度以下，救助管理站的救助人员加大巡查力度，及时救助陷入困境、居无定所、露宿街头等生活无着人员。同时批发市场也能够供应充足的食物。记者张泓带来更多详细报道。

At 8pm yesterday, staff members from Yangpu homeless shelter were checking whether people were staying under the Xiangyin Road Tunnel-Bridge. They were relieved after finding no one there.

晚上八点，杨浦区救助管理站的救助人员来到翔殷路隧桥附近，大桥下空无一人，这让他们松了一口气。

We patrol the area every day. Homeless people often stay here for a night. With the Spring Festival so close, they might have gone home. It’s a relief to see no one here.

If a person declines to go to the shelter with them, they offer free food, clothes and quilts【被褥】. They’ve been patrolling more frequently these days.

如果有人坚持己见，拒绝和他们一起去救助站，救助人员就会送去御寒物资和食品。（春节将近）相关部门进一步加大了在街面及相关重点地区的巡查力度与巡查频次。

Also, wholesale markets have been preparing for increased demand for vegetables, fruit and meat during the holiday.(Shanghai) Xijiao International Agricultural Products Trade Center and Jiangqiao Market, two of the largest markets in the city, sold 4,500 tons of food per day of late, double the usual amount.

另外，批发市场也在为春节期间蔬果和肉类的需求增加做准备。西郊国际农产品交易中心和江桥市场是上海最大的两个市场，最近，日销售量达4500吨食品，比平时翻了一番。

Almost one-third of our clients will stay in Shanghai for the Spring Festival. We have asked what they need to see whether we have it. If we lack specific vegetables, we’ll contact the farms.

将近有三分之一的客商会留沪过年，这些客商（需要）的品种，包括产地的存留量，都会先期统计。一旦发生市场内品种短缺，我们会及时联系产地。

Pork sales have also increased. Between 7,600 and 9,000 pigs are being sold per day at Xi Jiao International Agricultural Products Trade Center. Pork prices have increased slightly, reaching about 20 yuan per kilogram. Also, 1,500 tons of fruit are being sold everyday with demand highest for oranges and cherries.

猪肉销售也有所增加。在西郊贸易中心，每天出售有7,600至9,000头猪。猪肉价格小幅涨至每公斤20元左右。此外，每天还出售约1,500吨水果，需求量最大的是橙子和车厘子。

3.ISRAEL SEEKS MORE BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES WITH CHINA

以色列寻求与中国更多商业合作

The final of the 6th China-Israel Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was held in Putuo District this afternoon. 13 companies qualified for the final, which is designed to select the most suitable technologies from Israel for the Chinese market.

2022第六届中以创新创业大赛总决赛1月16日下午在普陀区举行，旨在发掘以色列最适合落地中国市场的技术，其中13家公司获得决赛资格。

The contest was held at the China-Israel Innovation Hub in Taopu Smart City. Representatives of Israeli companies pitched their projects both in-person and via livestreams【网络直播】. Organizers invited domestic businesses including big names like Fosun Pharma and autonomous driving technology company Mobileye to watch as they may seek potential partnerships with Israeli companies. The China-Israel Innovation Hub is now home to around 100 Israel-based companies including some in the smart manufacturing and healthcare sectors.

比赛在位于桃浦智创城的中以（上海）创新园举行。以色列公司代表通过现场和直播的方式介绍了他们的项目。为促进中以合作，本次活动邀请了国内企业（包括复星医药）和以色列自动驾驶技术公司Mobileye等公司前来观看。目前大约100家以色列公司已经入驻中以（上海）创新园，涉及领域包括智能制造和医疗保健。
