1.WHITE LIST STILL IN EFFECT FOR COMMUTERS

上海：推进跨省通勤白名单，方便市民跨省流动

Shanghai residents who work in Jiangsu or Zhejiang can apply to be on a white list that removes them from COVID-19 restrictions for new arrivals in the city. People working in Shanghai are also eligible 【有资格的】 if they reside 【定居于】outside Shanghai. Those on the list will still be allowed to enter restaurants, shopping malls and other public venues. Zhang Yue finds out more.

为方便“双城生活”的通勤人员，上海开始实施跨省通勤人员白名单制度。对于在江苏或浙江工作的上海居民，可以申请加入“白名单”以方便通勤；居住在上海以外，但在上海工作的人员亦有资格申请。“白名单”上的人员能够进入餐馆、商场和其他公共场所。记者张乐为您带来更多详细报道。

Li Qiuzhong works at Residential Community Activity Center in Langxia Town, Jinshan District. He lives in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province. Since he travels between Shanghai and Zhejiang every day, he applied to be added to the white list.

家住浙江省平湖市的黎秋中，在上海市金山区廊下镇社区文化活动中心上班，每天都需要往返沪浙两地。当得知可申报跨省通勤人员白名单时，他第一时间进行了填表申请。

Two days after I applied, I no longer got the message "less than five days upon arrival" on my health and venue code pages.

我申请之后，就过了两天，随申码上的“来沪返沪不满五天”这行字样就消失了。

Li is not alone. A company based in Fengjing Town has more than 100 people who travel between Shanghai and neighboring cities every day. The company has been helping these employees complete the application. A Jinshan government official said subdistricts can submit applications on behalf of companies in their jurisdiction.

不少大型企业都有许多"双城生活"的通勤人员，位于金山区枫泾镇的一家企业，每天往返两地的工作人员超过百人。年底工期紧张，为帮助员工尽快获得白名单资格，企业经排摸后，帮助员工集中完成了申请，同时也承诺做好相关防疫工作。目前，金山区已搭建网上报送智能平台，代替其管辖范围内的公司提交白名单申请。

Applications from residents in different categories will be collected every day. This includes people who work at industrial parks, wet markets, and supermarkets.

The districts of Minhang and Jiading also have a white list.

2.CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN ON NATIONAL COMPUTING HUB

上海：推进重点项目支撑“数实融合” 加快建设长三角数字干线

Qingpu District is speeding up construction of a computing service hub that will serve the Yangtze River Delta Region. The message was conveyed at a digital economy seminar held in the city today. ZhangHong has more.

上海市青浦区正依托东西发展轴上数字要素集聚优势，助力打响“长三角数字干线”。今天（12月1日）下午，“数字赋能、智创未来”——长三角数字经济和实体经济深度融合发展研讨会在长三角绿洲智谷•赵巷举办。记者张泓为您带来更多详细报道。

Officials at the seminar said construction has begun on the first projects of a national computing hub in the Yangtze River Delta Region. A high-speed computing network, a coordination center for computing capabilities as well as industrial network scenarios are expected to be built in Qingpu District. Companies including China Telecom, China Mobile and computing service provider UCloud are involved in the projects.

目前，长三角数字干线的第一批项目已经开始建设。预计将在青浦区建设一个基于算力自主可控的数字信息产业园，其中包含高速计算网络、计算能力协调中心以及工业网络园区。中国电信、中国移动和计算服务提供商UCloud在内的公司都参与了这一项目。

UCloud started its program early and has begun the installation of computers. We are working to help accelerate construction of the China Telecom and China Mobile projects.

Huawei is building a R&D center in Qingpu. Construction of phase one will be completed by the end of the year. Construction will begin next year on Xicen Science and Technology Park, which will serve the Huawei R&D center.

据悉，华为青浦研发中心一期8个组团年内将全部实现结构封顶。西岑科创园区于明年会启动园区的投资开发建设，为华为研发中心进行服务。

3.NATO PROMISES MORE ARMS FOR UKRAINE

乌克兰局势：北约承诺将加强对乌克兰的军事支持

At a two-day summit in the Romanian capital of Bucharest, NATO members promised to supply Ukraine with more arms, as well as equipment to help restore power supplies. Stephen Rancourt has the story.

Russian Defense minister Sergei Shoigu said Wednesday that Russian forces have tested new ways to use missiles, troops and artillery during the special military operation in Ukraine. Shoigu also mentioned that over 300,000 reservists and volunteers have been trained in two months.

Around 8,000 crews of combat vehicles, tanks, the personnel of artillery systems, air defense systems, systems of unmanned aviation and electronic warfare have been prepared in training centers.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday, said the time to welcome Sweden and Finland as full-fledged 【完全合格的】members of the alliance has arrived. Sweden and Finland abandoned their long-standing policies of military nonalignment and applied for membership in the alliance after the Russia-Ukraine conflict started in February.

Scholz added that improved monitoring of subsea infrastructure such as gas pipelines and telecoms cables will be discussed with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
