上海多家医院扩容发热门诊提升接诊能力

Hospitals in Shanghai have expanded fever clinics after the State Council asked them to remain open 24-7 and streamline the consultation process. Hospitals have adopted a procedure to ensure patients receive timely treatment. Zhang Hong tells us more.

国务院联防联控机制近日印发通知，要求各地确保发热门诊24小时开诊，同时进一步简化、优化发热患者就诊流程。上海多家医院扩容发烧门诊诊室，提升接诊能力。记者张泓带来更多详细报道。

At the East Branch of Shuguang Hospital, its fever clinic now has seven consulting rooms compared to three in the past. The second floor was designated to treat patients with a positive COVID antigen test result.

在曙光医院东院，扩容后的发热门诊，由原先的三个诊室扩增至七个。其中整个二层，专门为抗原异常的患者提供医疗服务。

We have assigned nurses to take the patient with a positive antigen result to an isolated room on the second floor. We have 10 single rooms and three negative pressure rooms and a larger room. They’re equipped with life-support machines.

我们有专门的护士带患者到二楼，单独隔离（治疗）。有十间单人的留观房间，三间负压的留观房间，还有一间大平层。包括一些呼吸机、心电监护，里面的设备是齐全的。

The hospital said its fever clinic patients had increased almost 20 percent, with most being diagnosed with a cold. Tongji Hospital also set up separate areas for COVID patients.

院方介绍，这几天，发热门诊的患者增加近两成，以普通流感为主。同济医院为新冠病毒感染者设立了单独区域。

I have a 48-hour PCR test result and I entered the hospital through a path that separated infected patients. I think the signs are quite clear.

The hospital’s emergency department has a buffer【缓冲】zone for those who need emergency treatment without a 48-hour PCR test result. At Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital, those with a positive PCR or antigen test result will be taken to a designated【指定的】area for consultation or labor. A doctor said so far there had been no transmission of COVID from mother to baby during pregnancy.

医院急诊为没有48小时核酸阴性报告同时急需接受治疗的病人设置了缓冲区。在上海第一妇婴保健院，核酸或抗原检测结果为阳性的孕妇将被带到指定区域进行咨询或分娩。一位医生介绍，到目前为止，还没有出现怀孕期间母亲把新冠病毒传染给婴儿的情况。

Nearly 7,000 pregnant women visit the hospital each day. The hospital said its doctors regularly call pregnant women with an underlying disease or at a high risk for labor tocheck their status and reassure them that everything is fine.

每天有近7000名孕妇到该医院就诊。院方表示，医生会定期给有潜在疾病或有高风险的孕妇打电话，核实情况、稳定情绪。

2.HOSPITALS STEP UP ONLINE CONSULTATION SERVICES

上海“互联网医院”进一步优化复诊配药流程

Hospitals in Shanghai have been boosting internet services to meet demand for medical consultations and prescriptions【处方】. Renji Hospital launched online consultation services for COVID, the flu, and other viral illnesses since Friday. More than 100 patients spoke to one of its doctors online today, doubling that of the weekend. Song Wenjing tells us more.

上海各大医疗机构的互联网医院都开足马力，满足市民足不出户复诊配药的需求。从上周五（12/09）开始，仁济医院在互联网医院线上端口特别开设了“病毒性感冒专病门诊”，今天（12/12）一天线上咨询量超过了100多人次，比周末翻了一倍。记者宋文婧为我们带来更多报道。

Patients can consult doctors by tapping "Diagnosis and Consultation for Flu" on Renji Hospital’s WeChat account. The hospital says the new service is convenient, especiallyfor those infected with the coronavirus. It also gives doctors some flexibility to arrange their time slots.

患者可以通过点开仁济医院的微信公众号上的“病毒性感冒问诊”来咨询医生。院方介绍，新增这一设置，除了方便感染者线上咨询，另一方面，也盘活了全院所有专科医生的资源。

The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council announced today that hospitals can fill online prescriptions for people with COVID and havethemdelivered to their home.

3.U.K. OPENS "WARM BANKS" AMID PLUMMETING TEMPERATURES

Areas of the United Kingdom were given a layer of snow as winds from the north sent temperatures below freezing in the first cold snap of the winter season. The frosty weather is forecast to last throughout the week. Zhang Yue has the details.

In Britain’s West Midlands, four children are in a critical condition in hospital after falling through the ice on a lake. Members of the public attempted to reach the children before emergency services arrived and pulled them from the water.

Reports in the UK said most warm banks in the country are nearly half full.
