Louis Foster is Britain's newest IndyCar Series star, having announced earlier this week he will make his debut with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing in 2025.
It marks the latest chapter in a stunning rise through the ranks for Foster, having won the IndyNXT title this year, in addition to his Indy Pro 2000 title, plus race wins in the Euroformula Open, British Formula 3 and Formula 4 Championships on his way to the top table of motorsport.
But beyond the cockpit, Louis is one of the sport's most articulate, intelligent and forward-thinking racers. In this chat with Damian Meaden, he recounts his journey from under-performing in karts, to winning in single-seaters, moving stateside to pursue his dream and, now, setting himself up for what will undoubtedly be a long and successful career in American open-wheelers.
