I recently read about someone who once owned a beautiful African lion. It made me think about a few things that I wanted to share with you. You might wonder, what does a lion have to do with me, with my life and how I feel right now? I almost didn't read it because I thought the same thing! But, I discovered something that was very inspiring and relevant to life right now. And, I'm going to share it with you...Every moment has a different value, a different focus that qualifies for a different level of energy and attention. Rest is not wasted time. A restored mind can avoid a thousand heartaches.
How are you feeling? Have you been feeling down, discouraged, maybe even depressed? Are thoughts of regret, failure, fear or uncertainty putting a damper on your mood? I want to remind you that your mood is not your life! It's a feeling...and it is temporary! The way you feel can come through the thoughts you have or through conversations. This can activate memories that create those feelings. It's important to realize that it's very deceiving to confuse your present mood or feelings with the actual quality and purpose of your life.
